The website was designed to meet the demand from UK car buyers for timely and accurate information on all vehicle makes and models.
Featuring a revolutionary comparison engine, it allowed users to compare prices and specs of up to 3 cars side by side, while in-depth information covered areas such as performance, interior, features and safety - all backed up with full colour photo galleries of every car.
Its credentials were quickly established through a deal which saw NEWCARNET.co.uk become Yahoo!'s first UK new car guide while a string of web awards was crowned with a ‘Site of the Month’ from Internet Magazine.
More companies turned to us for assistance with their with motoring channels as we began to provide syndicated content. These included Times Online, MSN Cars, Virgin Media, Tiscali, Orange and Auto Trader.
We have since added lots more content and editorial including road tests, features, daily motoring news and first impressions of the latest models. Most recently, we have launched NEWCARNET.tv a dedicated motoring video channel jam-packed with news, road tests and features as well as international Motor Show coverage.
As publishers Netro42 have enjoyed great success with the online marketing of NEWCARNET.co.uk, creating successful digital campaigns and brand building as well as managing the ongoing search engine optimisation (SEO) and Adwords accounts. Indeed, a longstanding position as the top for the search term "new car" on Google.co.uk is testimony to the quality of these services.
