Netro42 were asked to implement designs from Adrian Pini into a fully functioning website underpinned by a powerful content management system.

We also designed all e-marketing and Flash based animations for the website.

Independent publishing house Forme Communications established itself as a trade press organization specializing in media such as the print, broadcast and web industries. As art director there for many years I designed everything from Forme’s identity, marketing supplements, media packs and took control of all the publications Pre Press News, Print, Publishing, VideoAge, broadcast News and Webspace.

Webspace became so successful it became a newsstand title for many years.

Tradeclips

Part of the Wirefast group of companies, Tradeclips is an online service which brings multimedia content such as video, imagery and audio files to the attention of news editors, media professionals and PR companies.

Netro42 were commissioned to create the Tradeclips identity and brand guidelines as well as the design and build of the website.

Simplicity was the key in all digital communications. In creating a brand launch strategy it was our job to ensure the message was clear, succinct and engage with the audience.

A simple motif utilising recognisable file format iconography makes up the identity.Visualised in a bold, colourful and approachable style means it fits comfortably within today’s digital landscape.

Simplicity again underpinned the website’s design and functionality. Clarity and precision expressed in a clearly laid out and easy to use online experience has been well received by its audience.

All data is mirrored across multiple servers and data centres which operate to the highest levels of data security, files of any size can be transferred through the system, files can be uploaded or downloaded singly or in bulk. Each file can be geo-tagged even automated if the camera has a built in GPS receiver.

PickaNews is the media search engine provide by Press Index. It allows users to search for print as well as online media. As the digital agency for Press Index, Netro42 have been asked to look at evolving the PickaNews search engine. This work is still ongoing.

As a senior designer, project manager, account handler and finally creative director of Netro42 I have been involved with all aspects of client and creative work in one form or another. I designed the identity, literature, stationery, html and flash websites for Netro42 over the years. The current incarnation was created by Glenn Kavanagh my senior designer but the identity has endured for 15 years!
